Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr hasan Mahmud today said the holy Quran and the life and philosophy of Great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) are being aired in the religious programmes of Bangladesh Television (BTV) with most importance.
The minister said this while replying to a tabled question by lawmaker Habib Hasan in the parliament.
Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, said the religious programmes were aired for 334 hours in 2020-2021 fiscal year which was about one hour per day.
