Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has handed over a unified license in favour of mobile operator Banglalink Digital Communication Limited.
Erik Aas, the chief executive officer of the institution, received the license from the chairman of the commission Md.Mohiuddin Ahmed in a ceremony, took place at the BTRC office in Agargaon in the capital on Thursday afternoon.
Prior to this, on March 11, 2024, a unified license was handed over in favour of three other mobile operators-Grameenphone Limited, Robi Aziata Limited and Teletalk Bangladesh Limited, with the aim of providing next-generation technological facilities along with 5G.
