Responding to the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to prevent the spread of Corona virus in the country, the teachers, officials and employees of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology in Gopalganj have donated an amount worth of their one day’s salary to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund.
Acting Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology Prof Dr. Mohammad Shahjahan handed over a check of Tk 5 lakh to Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner Shahida Sultana at the Deputy Commissioner's Office on Tuesday noon.
Among others, Dr. Hasibur Rahman, President of BSMRUST Teachers’ Association, Mohammad Nazrul Islam Hira, President of Officers Association, Walid Mia, General Secretary, SM Golam Haider, Controller of Examinations, Mikail Islam, Deputy Controller of Examinations, Tariqul Islam, President of Employees Association and others were present on the occasion.
