An eleven-member executive committee of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) Journalists’ Association was reformed for one-year term.
Shams Jabin of Daily Alokito Bangladesh and Jahidul Islam of Daily Protidiner Sangnad were made president general secretary of the committee respectively.
Other office bearers are senior vice president Hriday Kundu of Daily Observer, vice president Sukanto Kumar of Daily Varsity Voice, senior joint secretary Fatema Tuz Zinia, joint secretary aAbdur Rahman Kutubi of Daily Odhikar, organising secretary Shafiul Kayes of Daily Bangladesh Today, office secretary Tawhid Islam of Carrier Times, publicity and publication secretary Mainuddin Paran of Amader Notun Somoy, treasurer Sumiya Rshid of Daily Samachar, and official photographer Mahmud Ahad.
Notably, former president Abu Zahid and vice-president Raihanul Islam Saikat resigned from the organisation. For this, the organisation reformed.
