Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Giashuddin Miah handed over their RT-PCR machine to the Health Ministry on Tuesday (April 21) for Covid-19 testing.
Additional Secretary of the ministry Md. Sirajul Islam officially received the RT-PCR machine along with accessories.
BSMRAU Treasurer Prof Tofayel Ahmed, Dean (Graduate Studies) Prof Dr Md. Abul Hossain Mollah, Director (Research) Prof. AKM Aminul Islam, Proctor. Md. Arifur Rahman Khan, Professor of IBGE Md. Mahbubur Rahman and Member-Secretary of the Corona Prevention Committee of the University Muhammad Abdus Salam were present at the time.
The health ministry will set up the RT-PCR machine at Dhaka Medical College Hospital for detecting corona virus.
