Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) is hosting its Postgraduate Admission Test on campus for the first time. There were 3,910 applicants for the morning shift.

According to Professor Dr. Md. Sharfuddin Ahmed, vice-chancellor of the university, the postgraduate admission exam was administered on campus for the first time. This is a significant development in the university's history. An efficient, well-organized admission test was administered for the morning shift. Additionally, the attendance was satisfactory. I am hoping that the exam will go well during the afternoon shift as well. Results based on merit will be posted at night on the university website.

Among those in attendance at this time were the following: Dr. AKM Mosharraf Hossain, Vice-Chancellor of the University; Professor Dr. Cheif Uddin Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor (Administration); Professor Dr. Md. Moniruzzaman Khan, Vice-Chancellor (Research and Development); Professor Dr. Mohammad Atiqur Rahman, Treasurer; Professor Dr. Mohammad Atiqur Rahman; Professor Dr. Mohammad Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Surgery; Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Abu Nasar Rizvi; Dean of the Dental Faculty; Prof. Mohammad Ali Asghar Moral; Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Professor Dr. Debbrata Banik; Dean of the Faculty of Medical Technology; and numerous others.
