They were forcibly pushed towards Bangladesh by opening the fence gate of the border early on Tuesday.

Among those detained are 7 men, 8 women and 15 children. They claim that they are all citizens of Bangladesh.

Some of the detainees said that they illegally went to India at different times. A few days ago, the Indian police arrested them and handed them over to the BSF. They said that most of the detainees are residents of Kurigram district.

Later, early on Tuesday, the BSF brought them to the Mujibnagar border.  There, the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) pushed them into Bangladesh through gate number 20 near pillar number 101 of the Anandabhas border.
