BSCIC to train 260 officials in FY20

Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) will provide training to 260 officials and employees through 48 courses in the fiscal 2019-20 (FY20), reports BSS.

In the outgoing fiscal 2018-19, BSCIC provided training to the 256 officials and employees through 21 courses at home and abroad.

The information was reveled on Tuesday at the inauguration session of a two-day training course at the BSCIC headquarters in the city, said a press release today.

Industries Secretary Md Abdul Halim attended the session as the chief guest while BSCIC Chairman Md Mostaq Hassan presided over.

BSCIC Director (Development and Expansion) Md Khalilur Rahman, Director (Marketing and Design) Md Mahbubur Rahman and Director (Finance) Shawpan Kumar Gosh delivered speeches on the occasion.

Abdul Halim said BSCIC is playing a vital role to accelerate the small and medium industries at the root level for industrialization in the country.

He suggested BSCIC officials and employees to take effective projects after surveying at the root level.
