BSCIC to open training for women entrepreneurs

Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) will start a week-long training programme for women entrepreneurs to enhance their ability to cope with the changing business environment, reports BSS.

Over 50,000 potential entrepreneurs have so far received training in the last three decades since 1985.

Educated women, who are seeking opportunity of establishing separate business entity, will get privilege under the training course titled ‘Women Entrepreneurs Development’, according to an official release. The training course, equipped with internationally recognized module, will begin from March 21 and continue till March 25.

Interested candidates can take part in the training programme both physically and virtually (online).

The course fee for the participants who will attend physically has been fixed at Taka 1,000 while Taka 500 for online candidates. 

The women participants have been asked to apply by 9.30am on March 21.

The entrepreneurs who will successfully complete the course will be provided loan facilities from BSCIC’s own fund and also from the Karmasangsthan Bank.
