BSCIC will establish a total of 50 industrial parks on 20,000 acre of land in the commercially potentials areas across the country within the next 10 years. Sources concerned at the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), said the corporation will also go for expansion of existing industrial parks in a bid to make them time befitting and more beneficial for the small industry owners in the country.
The decisions came up in a workshop of the corporation on redesigning its future plan at the BSCIC head office, Matijheel in city.
Chairman of the Corporation, Md. Moshtaq Hasan ndc presided over the workshop while Directors Dr. Md. Abdus Salam, Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Swapan Kumar Ghosh, Md. Khalilur Rahman, Md. Ataur Rahman Siddiqui and other senior officials concerned were present.
The meeting highlighted on developing skilled human resources , using modern technology, constructing bonded warehouse in all industrial parks and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)in industrial parks to make them much more productive and effective.
They recommended that the working plans of BSCIC will be implemented in three; short term, medium and long term planning.
