BRTA organized a free helmet distribution and awareness campaign for motorcycle drivers in Chattogram on National Road Safety Day with the theme "Quality helmets and safe speed, loss of life and property will be reduced",
On Tuesday afternoon, BRTA organized an awareness road campaign and free helmet distribution at the head of Kaptai Road in the city.
At the end of the road campaign, free quality helmets were distributed to 22 motorcycle license holders.
BRTA, Chattogram Divisional Office Director (Engineering) Md. Masud Alam and Deputy Director (Engineering) KM Mahabub Kabir, BRTA Chattogram District Circle Assistant Director (Engineering) Uthoyinu Chowdhury, BRTA Chattogram Metro-2 Circle Government Revenue Officer Md. Harunur Rashid, along with various levels of BRTA, RHD Department and Police officials were present at the road campaign and quality helmet distribution program.
