High-speed broadband internet connection will be provided in every union of the country by 2023. In the meantime, high speed internet connection has been ensured in every hilly area of the country except 190 unions.
Post and Telecommunication Minister Mustafa Jabbar said this while speaking at the inauguration of a high-speed broadband internet connection in the remote hills of Madhupur on Thursday.
Internet service provider Amber IT has provided this connection in a few villages inhabited by the Garo people of Madhupur.
The Minister for Posts and Telecommunications assured to launch mobile network in all remote and remote areas including remote hilly areas of Madhupur.
He said, “There is a lot of talent hidden all over the country like Madhupar forest. If we can give them digital connection, many new talents will come out. This nation, which has been lagging behind in technology for many years, will not lag behind of any other country in the world in next ten years. We have already launched 5G service.”
The Minister mentioned that the 5G service would be a great tool to move forward in every field including agriculture, fish farming and industrial trade.
The Minister pledged to provide all possible support to them, including high-speed digital connectivity, to develop the talents in the remote areas of the country.
After getting high speed internet connection indigenous youth expressing gratitude said they are very happy over getting the internet connection. From now on they will be able to march forward with the modern world staying at the village. At the same time many new opportunities will open at their doorsteps.
