Speakers at a seminar on Friday opined that branding is crucial for any business.
They also said startup simply means business; and, business demands courage. So, at first assessing someone before finding himself in loss is important. The remarks were made in a conference with young entrepreneurs across the country held on the second day of ‘BASIS SoftExpo 2023’ on Friday at the main stage.
The chief guest was the founder of ‘BharatPe’, Ahneer Grover.
The show was hosted by the founder of 10-minute school, Ayman Sadiq. Seven hundred youths from all over the country joined it.
As the chief guest, Ashneer said, Branding is a critical activity in business. With it you raise interest in your potential customers. When you are selling a product, you have to set the attraction for customers.
He added, at the end of the day, we all measure success with money. I don't find any problem with it; whereas, many people do. Investors will come to you and overpromise about funds.
But, at the end of the day, they will Inquire about the capital. It is clear that you need to have sufficient amount of money to start any kind of business. He also said, claiming yourself a founder is more than following your passion. You have to be consistent and create a market demand. Even if you don't get anything out of your investments and efforts you should have the guts to undergo the unprofitableness at least for two years.
On closing remarks of Startup Conference Russell T. Ahmed, the President of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) said, You youths are champions.
You all are the potentiality of Bangladesh. By 2041, we will turn the vision Smart Bangladesh into a reality. You are going to be a major part of that.

Tech startups are not like grocery shops which can provide you profit from day one. Our youths dream of profit from the very first day. No one should day-dream. One should dream of the reality. You have to work on the dream to serve the society.
At that event, Rahat Ahmed, Founding Partner and CEO, Anchorless Bangladesh delivered a presentation with slides. He presented the method youths will follow to raise funds.
