Due to the rapid increase in the number of patients suffering from corona infection, 6 booths will be set up in Chittagong to take samples for corona virus testing.
These 6 booths are going to be launched across the city on Sunday and Monday in collaboration with the private company BRAC.
It is learned that in the first phase, six booths will be set up at Chattogram Press Club in Jamalkhan, MA Salam Nagar Health Center in Agrabad Beparipara, Bibirhat Nagar Health Center, Hamidgaon Government Primary School in Chandgaon, North Kattli Urban Charitable Hospital and Firingibazar.
In the second phase, there are plans to set up 6 more booths at places including Old Nagar Bhaban, Menon-2 Hospital, Oxygen Abdur Rahima Charitable Hospital, Bandartila Maternity Hospital in Anderkilla. The non-government organization BRAC is providing the infrastructure support to Chattogram City Corporation in this project.
