BRAC Bank has been awarded the prestigious “The Asian Banker Transaction Finance Award 2022” in two categories: “The Best Transaction Bank” and “The Best Cash Management Bank” in Bangladesh.
The Asian Banker Transaction Finance Award is one of the most prestigious annual awards recognizing leadership in cash management, trade finance, supply chain finance and payments amongst domestic and international financial institutions in the Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. The Transaction Finance Awards 2022 was formally announced through a virtual award presentation ceremony on Wednesday, in the presence of Foo Boon Ping, President and Managing Editor, The Asian Banker. Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Deputy ManagingDirector and Head of Corporate Banking, BRAC Bank, received the award in the virtual programme.
In the award citation, The Asian Banker states about BRAC Bank’s dynamic and world-class Cash Management and Transaction Banking architecture, particularly bank’s capabilities to offer client-centric Cash Management solutions, Trade products, digitization of transactions and maximum API connectivity with key service providers.
On winning the accolade, Selim R. F. Hussain, Managing Director & CEO, BRAC Bank, said: “Over the last couple of years, BRAC Bank has enhanced its Transaction Banking capabilities by developing various value-added services, straight-through transaction, innovation of client-centric solutions and diversified trade products offerings capabilities".
