BRAC Bank has patronized organizing a Model United Nations (DPSIMUN VI) at The Delhi Public School (DPS), Dhaka.
A total of 750 students from 65 schools across Bangladesh and international delegates from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and the United States took part in the conference during March 09 – 12, 2023, at the school campus in Dhaka.
The Model United Nations is organized at educational institutions worldwide with the goals of in-deep understanding of the United Nations, educating participants about world issues and promoting peace and the work of the United Nations.
At this platform of sharing ideas and knowledge and weighing on the world’s challenges and ways of solutions, the young generation can challenge the status quo and call for transformative change. Model United Nations is a platform that nurtures the youth's creativity, courage, and commitment. DPSIMUN VI was divided into 17 committees, including UNSC, NATO, WHO, and UNHRC, and delegates addressed 35 agendas.
