BRAC Bank has unveiled its first-ever female-only scholarship program ‘Aporajeyo TARA’ exclusively for students at the University of Dhaka and BRAC University. This groundbreaking initiative falls under the umbrella of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and aims to empower women to pursue higher education and achieve their
aspirations.
The ‘Aporajeyo TARA’ scholarship program, launched at these two prestigious universities, is set to benefit over 300 female students, enabling them to unlock their full potential and overcome challenges. BRAC Bank has been a frontrunner in supporting education through its scholarship programs since 2010, assisting more than 1,000 students.
BRAC Bank plans to expand this scholarship initiative by partnering with other leading universities in Bangladesh, aiming to bring more female students into the program.
