Md Zahurul Haque, member (administration) of Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), took over charge as the chairman (additional charge) of the state entity, said in a press statement. He joined BPDB on November 6 in 2013.
A cadre (administration) of the 9th batch of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS), Mr. Haque was the deputy commissioner and district magistrate of Narail before joining the BPDB.
He completed his graduation and post-graduation from the University of Dhaka. He achieved M.Phil degree from Norway under Norad Scholar-ship, the statement added.
