A day-long workshop titled “Challenges and Do's in project implementation and exchange of experiences of completed projects under BPC” was held.
The workshop was organized by the Energy and Mineral Resources Department (EMRD) and BPC at the Eastern Refinery Limited (ERL) office in Patenga of Chittagong on September 4.
Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) Chairman Md. Amin-Ul-Ahsan presided over the workshop with Energy and Mineral Resources Department (EMRD) Secretary Mohammad Saiful as the chief guest.
Project Director (PD), concerned project staff, Managing Directors of various organizations under BPC and Planning Officers of EMRD participated in the event.
EMRD Secretary Md. Saiful presented crests and certificates to three project directors of Chittagong-Dhaka Pipeline (CDPL), Single Point Mooring (SPM) and Custody Flow Meter projects in recognition of their successful project execution.
In this day-long workshop, project directors and project-related officials presented their experiences, learnings and future recommendations. At the same time, it is expected that the strategic guidance and effective advice provided by the EMRD Secretary and BPC Chairman will play a role as a game changer in the successful implementation of future projects.
Through this event, the Energy and Mineral Resources Department is committed to establishing itself as a “Real Change Maker”, which will ensure proper value for public money through successful project implementation.
