Bangladesh Oceanographic Research Institute (BORI) on Thursday expelled its Chief Scientific Officer Abul Kashem for alleged involvement in ‘anti-disciplinary activities’, ‘misconduct’ and ‘unsatisfactory performance’.
BORI Director General and Additional Secretary Sayeed Mahmood Belal Haider signed an office order on Thursday in this regard. The notice was also published in BORI’s official website.
Expelled Chief Scientific Officer Abul Kashem said, “I was dismissed unfairly. I informed the ministry (Ministry of Science and Technology).”
