Bangladesh National Football team, now in Doha, lost both of their preparatory matches agianst local teams ahead of their FIFA World Cup 2022 and Asian Cup 2023 Qualifiers against Qatar on December 4, reports UNB.
Touring Bangladesh team, which suffered a 2-3 goal defeat against Qatar Army team in the first practice match at the Aziziyah Boutique (Super Club, Pitch-2) in Doha on November 25, conceded 0-1 goal defeat against Qatar Division-2 team Lusail Sporting Club last (Saturday) night at Pitch-1 of the same venue. Abdulrahman Mosed scored the match-winner for Lusail SC in the 24th minute of the match.
In the five-team Group E, Qatar is now leading the point table with 13 points from five matches while Bangladesh are at the bottom place with one point from four matches. Among others, Oman secured 12, Afghanistan 4 and India 3 points.
