Book titled ‘Bangabandhu: Omiyo Alokduti’ launched

A book titled “Bangabandhu: Omiyo Alokduti was unveiled on Wednesday.

In association with Rajshahi University unit Bangabandhu Parishad, the book has been unveiled at the university Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Senate Bhaban to mark the birth centenary of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence.

RU Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman hall provost Royson Jahid conducted the ceremony while Bangabandhu chair professor of Bangladesh University of professional Syed Anower Hossain delivered his speech as a chief discussant.

Speaking on the occasion, professor Anower said that if Bangabandhu would have alive, the Bangladesh turn into a developed country.

He also urged the new generation’s members particularly the students to know the Bangabandhu’s life and works to become a real patriot and Bengali nationalistic.

With RU unit Bangabandhu Parishad president professor Syed Samsuddin Ahmad in the chair, the ceremony was also addressed by RU vice-chancellor professor Golam Sabbir Sattar, pro-vice-chancellors professor Chowdhury Jakaria, professor Sultan-Ul-Islam and the Parishad general secretary professor Chiktoranjon Misro.
