 
                    On the occasion of the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, founder of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and former President of Bangladesh, a book fair was organized in Munshiganj by Zia Smriti Pathagar. The event was inaugurated on Friday (May 30) at 11 AM at the BNP office located in the Poura Market area of the city’s Super Market premises.
The book fair was presided over by Md. Farhad Hossain, President of Zia Smriti Pathagar, Munshiganj. Md. Mohiuddin, Member Secretary of Munshiganj District BNP, officially inaugurated the fair. Among other notable attendees were AKM Eradat Manu, Convenor of Munshiganj Municipal BNP; Advocate Mahbubul Alam Swapon, General Secretary; former councillor Shahidul Islam Shahid; Kazi Abu Sufian Biplob, Joint Convenor of City BNP; Abul Hashem, President of District Chhatra Dal; Advocate Rozina Yasmin, Advisor of the Women’s Wing in Munshiganj; Selina Akter Bina, District President of the Women’s Wing; and Akhtar Hossain, officer of Zia Smriti Pathagar Munshiganj branch.
During the event, Md. Mohiuddin distributed books among BNP leaders and activists, and many attendees also purchased valuable books from the fair. President Farhad Hossain stated, “The book fair features a wide collection of publications on Ziaur Rahman, Begum Khaleda Zia, and Tarique Rahman.
Through this initiative, we aim to present Tarique Rahman’s vision and plans for the country to the new generation. This nationwide book fair program by Zia Smriti Pathagar is a tribute to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman’s legacy.”
The book fair in Munshiganj has garnered significant interest and enthusiasm from BNP activists and the general public alike, making the event a lively and engaging occasion.
