Journalists received financial assistance cheque provided by the Prime Minister in Bogura at 11 a.m. on Monday at the local Max Motel during this corona crisis. The event was organized by Bangladesh Journalists Welfare Trust in collaboration with Bogura Journalists Union (BUJ). MP from Bogura-5 constituency Habibur Rahman distributed cheques as the chief guest while BUJ President Amjad Hossain Mintu presided over it.
Before distributing the checks, BFUJ President Mollah Jalal, Joint Secretary General Abdul Majid and GM Sajal, Bogra Press Club President Mahmudul Alam Nayan, General Secretary Arif Rehman and former President Pradeep Bhatracharya Shankar addressed a brief discussion. Besides, Mayor of Shibganj Municipality Touhidur Rahman Manik spoke as the guest of honour while JM Rauf, General Secretary of BUJ conducted the programme.
