Body Worn Camera and Technical Belt were distributed among 18 police officers under the auspices of Chuadanga district police on Sunday. The program was inaugurated by Jahidul Islam, Superintendent of Police on the day.
It is learnt, the body worn camera will capture all activities of the concerned member of the police for accountability and transparency. On the other hand the camera will preserve audio, video and steel picture.
There are six chambers of the technical belt. Pistol, handcuff, water pot, torch light and wireless will be kept in the chambers of belts. At least 18 body worn camera and technical belt have been given to 18 police officers in the district at first phase.
