The police of Dewanganj police station recovered the body of a missing youth from a farm in Haruabari area of Dangdhara union of Jamalpur's Dewanganj upazila. The body of Abdur Razzak Mondal (42), who was killed on Tuesday, has been recovered. He is the son of Suruzzaman Mandal of Harua Bari village of Upazila.
According to the deceased's family, the deceased Abdur Razzak went to the village mosque to pray Tarabi prayers every Sunday night. But that night he did not return home after performing the Tarawi prayer. So the family members searched for him a lot at night and could not find him. The next morning, locals found his body in a maize field near Haruabari Government Primary School and informed the police. After receiving the news, the police recovered the dead body from the spot and sent it to Jamalpur morgue for post-mortem examination.
Rubina Begum, wife of the deceased, said that her husband has been killed. She demanded exemplary punishment for those involved in this murder.
Abdur Razzak's father Suruzzaman said that his son was an innocent person. He does not know if anyone had a dispute with him. He was said to have been killed in a planned manner.
He sought justice for killing his son.
In this regard, Dewanganj Model Police Station OC Biplab Kumar Bishas confirmed the truth of the incident .
He said that efforts are being made to find out the cause of his death.
