Hanging body of a college student was recovered from Maligacha Village under Bagatipara Upazila of Natore district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Jakia Sultana Sonali, daughter of Sumon Ahmed of the same village and the 1st year student of Lokmanpur College of the upazlia.
Additional Superintendent of Police of Natore Sadar Circle Abul Hasna said Jakia went to sleep with her younger sister at her room on Tuesday night.
Her family members found her hanging body on Wednesday morning and informed police.
Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it Natore Hospital morgue for autopsy.
