Boat capsizes in Buriganga kills 4

At least four people died when a boat capsized in the river Buriganga at Kowtail ferry terminal at Keraniganj in Dhaka on Friday morning.
The causalities are Lutfur Rahman (39) of Jhalkati, Babu (18), son of Rashed Hawladar, and Mustafa (54) of Kawkhali Upazila under Pirojpur district and Muhibullah (60) of Banaripara upazila of Barishal district.
Trawler driver Amir Hussen and two others were injured by the accident. Trawler driver Amir said, “Our trawler is used to carry sand. We have cleaned it in the morning. I think a leak might be occurred while it was being cleaned. Water entered into the trawler while we were sleeping in it after cleaning.”
Additional sub-inspector (ASI) of South Keraniganj Thana, Kamrul Hasan confirmed that four dead bodies have been sent for post mortem to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital.
