Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said that BNP is trying to hide its incompetence and failure by blaming the government.
He said the BNP could not find any issue against the government. The leaders of the party are resorting to lies because they have to say something for this. Obaidul Quader said this at a briefing at his residence on Tuesday morning.
Quader criticized the BNP leaders and said that the anger of their workers against the top leaders of the BNP is intensifying due to the failure of the movement and the election. That is why the BNP leaders are talking nonsense to save the party workers from frustration.
Responding to the statement that BNP leaders and activists are being held in jail in a fabricated case, the Awami League general secretary said that BNP leaders and activists have created terror, destroyed people's wealth and peace, set fire to buses etc. Noone can say that they are being arrested in a fabricated case. a
Obaidul Quader claimed that whenever the law enforcers arrested a criminal on specific charges, the BNP made false allegations and lied. He questioned if BNP wants to include the criminals identified in their own party.
Commenting that criminals or miscreants never play a positive role in the interest of any party, the senior Awami League leader said, "If the party of criminals continues to harm others, then in the end the party itself is harmed by the criminals."
