When people from all walks of life, the administration and other stakeholders are cooperating with the Election Commission (EC) in holding the upcoming national election in a free, fair and peaceful manner, BNP has announced ‘non-cooperation movement’ against the government starting from Wednesday, urging people of the country to boycott the election.
BNP’s such announcement of (non-cooperation movement) is nothing but a mockery with the people. Call for ‘non-cooperation movement’ to oust the government do not suit those who failed to wage any movement democratically in the last 15 years.
The BNP has become completely isolated from the people of the country. The party (BNP) has not link with the people.
However, the country’s people will not respond to the ‘non-cooperation movement’ called by BNP using ‘remote control’. The BNP leaders get upset when the country remains in a good state while its people are in an election mood.
Country’s peace-loving people have kept faith in the election commission and the government as well. Therefore, people of the country will paint chalk on the face of election boycotters through casting their votes in festive moods on January 7 next.

All believe it is not possible to win the hearts of people through arson terrorism and killing. They (BNP) should know this and they should act accordingly.
The election commission is determined to hold a fair and credible election for protecting the democracy, economy and future of the country.
It is clear to all that BNP does not want the welfare of people, rather they want to unleash a reign of terror on the masses aimed at foiling the national election and establishing a regime of looting.
We have noticed BNP does not want to go for voting, because they know it very well that people of the country would not cast their votes for arson terrorists and killers. Therefore, apart from common people, country’s eminent citizens, including former chief justice, university teachers, former bureaucrats, retired major generals and university teachers, on Tuesday called for preventing ill-efforts being made to foil the January 7 general elections.
As part of the democratic process, the 12th national elections is going to be held in the country in line with the Constitution achieved through a long bloody struggle.
The election commission and others concerned have been working to make the polls free, fair, peaceful and participatory but BNP is trying to foil the elections.
