Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Sunday said his party does not do politics of vengeance rather BNP’s political history is of vengeance and intolerance.
“The government is considering Begum Khaleda Zia’s health matter on humanitarian and liberal grounds but BNP is doing politics over the issue,” he told a regular press briefing at his official residence in Dhaka Sunday afternoon.
Quader said vengeance and intolerance remains in BNP’s ‘bone marrow’ and this is their political history.
He said Bangladesh stands head high under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina following independent and balanced foreign policy.
“AL government didn’t bow down to anybody in national interest. Awami League has foreign friends, not lords. BNP doesn’t have foreign friends but lords,” he said.
