BNP is going to hold a public rally in Raozan on the occasion of 'Revolution and Solidarity Day' on November 7 .
The party is preparing for the programme at Raozan Government College Ground.
According to BNP sources, former MP and BNP Central Committee Vice Chairman Gias Uddin Quader Chowdhury has called for this public meeting before the elections. Upazila BNP and affiliated organizations are campaigning ahead of this public meeting. Leaders and activists are continuing their campaign by distributing leaflets in each union and municipality.
As part of this program, former Raozan Municipality Commissioner and former District BNP member Rezaul Rahim Azam distributed leaflets and held a road meeting with party leaders and activists on Tuesday afternoon, November 4.
He distributed pamphlets to the people of Ward No. 8 of Rauzan Municipality including Jalil Nagar Bus Station, Fakirhat Bazar, Munsirghata, Battal and various areas of Chittagong Rangamati Road and called for making the public meeting a success. BNP leaders Shahidul Alam Chowdhury, Abu Taher Munu, Abdul Sikder, Mohammad Babu, Mohammad Didarul Alam Sohel, Kajal De, Tajul Islam Palash, Mohammad Idris Sawdagar and others were present at the time. Later, a short road meeting was held at the Jalil Nagar Bus Station premises.
At this time, BNP leader and former councilor Rezaul Rahim Azam said, the leader of the people, Alhaj Gias Uddin Quader Chowdhury, will address the largest public meeting of all time. This public meeting will turn into an ocean of people before the elections. We want to create history in Rauzan, the land of Rauzan is the base of Gias Uddin Quader Chowdhury. Our leader will provide guidance from this public meeting to create a public awakening in favor of the nationalist forces in the next parliamentary elections.
