The political parties which believe in democracy and peace and nurture the spirit and ideals of the Great Liberation War will contest next polls. But, Bangladesh Nationalist Party wants to go to power in an illegal way as it was created in unlawful way.

The BNP-Jamaat clique is an anti-state evil political force which was created at the blessings of a Pakistani intelligence agency. Like in the past, the clique is plotting to return to power through the backdoor in the next elections.

However, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has warned BNP-Jamaat clique against engaging in further arson terrorism or destructive activities in the name of movement.

We always notice that the anti-liberation and communal forces led by BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami get active across the country before every general election. We people imbued with the spirit of the Liberation War have to remain alert against the BNP-Jamaat clique and the communal forces so that they could not create any unwanted situation in the country.

Being benefitted politically, the anti-liberation forces are always hatching conspiracies capitalising on any issue both at home and abroad. The pro-liberation forces must devote themselves for the betterment of the country and thwart anti-state conspiracies unitedly.

The

election is only the best way

for government changeover

Despite the August 15 tragedy and attempt of killing Sheikh Hasina, the ruling Awami League wants to keep ties with different political parties in the greater interest of democracy and good governance. Therefore, after a long struggle, the rule of law was established in the country under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter, Sheikh Hasina.

It may be recalled  that the nationwide violence including arson and petrol bomb attacks carried out by the BNP-Jamaat clique from 2014 to 2015 in the name of so-called movement killed about 500 innocent people and injured over 3600 others. The people met the tragic end of their lives in BNP-Jamaat petrol bomb attack on passenger buses and other vehicles across the country. Like the Pakistan military junta in 1971, country’s people witnessed the BNP-Jamaat launched petrol bomb attacks and mercilessly murdered ordinary people alive. We people do not want to see the horror of petrol bomb attacks again. BNP leaders and activists have become upset by failing to create chaos in the name of their ongoing movement. When the country’s general election approaches in Bangladesh there is an ache of losses.

Like in the past, the BNP-Jamaat alliance is now desperate to pull back the country to turn Bangladesh into a new Pakistan again, but we believe country’s people would not let that happen. Therefore, Sheikh Hasina’s message is clear to all that BNP-Jamaat clique and some elements will not get any benefit by launching arson attack or any terror attack to foil the national election as the polls will be held in due time as per the Constitution. We believe people will cast their vote in favour of the respective candidates in Bangladesh. And this is the democratic trend, and it will continue here.

We have seen this party (BNP) created from the pocket of a military dictator, is trying repeatedly to come to power through the backdoor. So, they are not interested in polls.

These political parties do not want to participate in elections fearing of losing their self-dignity. When they want to stay away from the elections or boycott the polls they blame the government, which is also an undemocratic mindset. The election is only the best way for government changeover. Bangladesh people will decide who will run the country as it is their power.
