‘BNP is a party that disappears before vote’

Their two leaders Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman are not enthusiastic about the election as they will not be able to succeed. BNP is a party that lost before the vote, said AKM Enamul Hoque Shamim, Deputy Minister for Water Resources.

He said that there is no scope for a caretaker government in the constitution. Elections will be held under the Election Commission.

The elections that have taken place in the country have been very fair, free and neutral. In fact, BNP was isolated from the people, so it is afraid of the election.

He said this while addressing the tri-annual conference of Bhumkhara Union Swechchhasebak League at Chakdh Bazar in Naria upazila of Shariatpur as the chief guest.

Enamul Haque Shamim said that anti-politics started in Bangladesh with the assassination of Bangabandhu. The mastermind of this murder is Ziaur Rahman. The politics of assassination and conspiracy started in the country through the illegal seizure of power by Ziaur Rahman. That is why Ziaur Rahman is the father of all anti-politics. “After his death, his wife Khaleda Zia and son Tarique Rahman came to power by looting votes and looted the country's resources. Now they are trying to come to power illegally. However, no foreign lord can bring BNP to power. They failed on the highway, failed in the movement, failed in the election,” he said.

The conference was chaired by Bhumkhara Union Swechchhasebak League President Al-Amin Chayal and conducted by General Secretary Shafiq Majhi and convener of Naria Upazila Swechchhasebak League Delwar Hossain Akon

Special guests were District Awami League Vice President Wahab Bepari, Naria Upazila Awami League Acting President Bir Muktijoddha Fazlul Haque Mal, Organizing Secretary  Sirajul Islam Chunnu, Treasurer Alamgir Hossain, District Swechchhasebak League Acting President VP Sheikh Abdus Salam, Vice President Zakir. Hossain Hossain Khan Deacon, Organizing Secretary Malek Hossain Apu. At that time a large number of leaders and workers of different levels of the party were present.
