Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its affiliated organization held a joyous procession in Banshkhali upazila of Chattogram as BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia was released from longtime imprisonment of Tuesday.
The procession was brought out from Joldi Adarsha High School field and paraded through various roads of the municipality and reached at the Pourasabha Parishad gate where they held a meeting.
Member of District BNP of Chattogram South Mishkatul Islam Chowdhury led the joyous procession. Convener of BNP and former Chairman Mohammad Lokman, Convener of Municipality BNP Russel Iqbal Mia, Member Secretary of Banshkhali Upazila BNP and former Chairman Rezaul Haque Chowdhury, Member Secretary of Municipality BNP Aiyub, BNP member Sakhawat Jamal Dulal, Joint Convener and former Chairman of Katharia Union Shahjahan Chowdhury, former Chairman of Silkup Union Parishad Mohsin, Joint Convener Abu Musa, Joint Convener Fazlul Qader, Joint Convener Master Maksudur Rahman, former Chairman of Kalipur Union Parishad Alhaz Aminur Rahman Chowdhury, Akter Hossain Chowdhury, Member Secretary of Upazila Jubo Dal Mohammad Rasel, Convener of Swecchasebak Dal Hefaz Udddin, Member Secretary Didar, Upazila Chatra Dal leader Muhammad Nizam Uddin ad others were present at that time.
