In the wake of the devastating earthquakes that hit last week in Turkey, Blodman and Daraz Cares, the social concern of the biggest online marketplace, has extended its support to the earthquake survivors by donating emergency relief items to Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
100 sleeping bag, 300 blankets, 200 High necks, 100 thermal set, more than 200 warm clothes were handed over to TIKA, Dhaka Office. The handover was made to ŞevkiMertBarış, Coordinator for TIKA in Bangladesh, by IsmatZerin Khan Director, Legal and Policy Daraz Bangladesh, Md Sahariar Hasan Jiisun, Founder, Bloodman and both teams. The earthquake caused several buildings to collapse, and thousands of people were trapped under the rubble. It further disrupted access to basic needs such as food, water, and medical supplies. Through Daraz Donates, anyone in Bangladesh can also show their support by giving necessary supplies like sleeping bags, blankets, and memorial support (Body bags).Bloodman volunteers are working relentlessly from the beginning of the crisis.

Daraz allows anyone to support disaster relief activities on the ground. All donations are to be delivered directly to the earthquake victims through TIKA, designated by the Turkish Embassy to manage earthquake relief assistance services from Bangladesh.
