Blood grouping camp at IU

A daylong free blood identifying camp, organized by Tarunno was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Thursday. The wing Tarunno, IU campus based voluntary organization arranged the camp around 11:00am at Dukhi Mahmaud Degree College under Shoilokupa Upazila in Jhenaidah district.

Earlier, a discussion programme on ‘Blood Awareness’ was held here for reducing blood related disease among the students of the college. M Asadur Rahman Shahin, principal of the collage addressed the discussion programme as chief guest and its vice Principal Moshiur Rahman attended here as special guest with Wahed Ali, vice president of Tarunno was in the chair.

Toffazel Hossain Suzon and Tamanna Sadia Mimi conducted the discussion programme and more than 300 students of the college took part at the programme. Over 200 students and teacher’s blood have been identified by three booths without any cost, confirmed Wahed Ali, vice president of Tarunno.
