On the initiative of Smile for Life, a voluntary organization, blankets were distributed among rootles street people at the railway station platform in Natore on Friday night. MP of Natore-Naogaon reserved constituency Ratna Ahmed, President of the organization Nasim Uddin, President of Natore United Press Club Nobiur Rahman Piplu, Staff Reporter of NTV Halim Khan along with several others were present there at the time.
Ratna Ahmed said, “There are a lot of poor people around us suffering from the severe cold.
A little help from all of us can end their sufferings. The affluent people of the society should come forward to help these distressed people just like the voluntary organizations.”
