Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced the commencement of ticket sales for its Dhaka-Rome-Dhaka route, starting from Thursday.
Biman simultaneously launched ticket sales at 02:05 PM across all distribution channels, including its commercial website (www.biman-airlines.com), mobile apps, sales centers, call center, and authorized travel agencies.
Passengers are in for a treat as special discounts have been introduced to mark the inauguration of the new route.
A 15 percent discount can be
availed by using the promo code BGROME15 when purchasing tickets through Biman's website and mobile apps between February 15 and March 26, 2024.
Additionally, a 10 percent discount on the original fare is available for tickets purchased through Biman Call Centers, own ticket counters, and authorized travel agencies.
The inaugural flight to Rome is scheduled for March 26 next. Operating every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from Dhaka, flight BG355 will depart at 2:00 PM local time and arrive in Rome at 7:00 AM local time. The return journey on the same day will see the flight leave Rome at 08:45 AM local time and reach Dhaka at 11:45 PM.
Starting April 1, 2024, in accordance with the summer schedule, flights from Dhaka to Rome will depart at 3:00 PM local time every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, reaching Rome at 09:10 AM. Return flights from Rome will depart at 10:45 AM local time, arriving in Dhaka at 12:30 PM.
The minimum one-way fare for the Dhaka-Rome route, including all taxes, starts at Tk 64,355 per person in economy class, with round-trip ticket prices beginning at Tk 1,04,568.
In business class, the one-way fare, inclusive of taxes, starts from Tk 1,44,105, and the round-trip ticket price begins at Tk 2,58,568.
For the Rome-Dhaka route, the minimum one-way economy class fare starts at Tk 48,788, with a round-trip ticket price of Tk 89,852. Business class one-way and round-trip fares start from Tk 1,22,663 and Tk 2,22,236, respectively. Prices may vary based on currency exchange rates, timing, and demand.
