Airport police on Saturday arrested traffic helper of Bangladesh Biman with 38 gold bars weighing about four kilograms at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, reports BSS. Additional Police Super of Airport Armed Police Battalion (APBn) Md Alamgir Hossain Shimul confirmed BSS about the arrest of Biman staff and seizure of gold bars saying that the gold bars weighing 4 KGs were found after searching the body of Emdad Hossain, 46.
The APBn official said that Emdad collected the gold bars worth Tk 2.00 crore from the cargo unloaded from a Thai Airways flight-TG 321 that reached here at 12.45pm. Filing of a case in this regard was underway, said the APBn official.
