BIDA Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Md. Sirajul Islam sought cooperation of Chartered Accountants in the initiatives to attract more foreign direct investment (FDI).
He lauded the initiatives, made by Institute of Chartered Accountants, Bangladesh (ICAB) to enhance the skills of CA professionals in various fields.
Islam made the remarks during a view exchange meeting with the leaders of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Bangladesh as an ICAB delegation called on BIDA Executive Chairman at his office on Wednesday.
The meeting discussion also focused on professional issues related to FDI, environment of audit advisory services and aspect connected to the development of economy of the country.
ICAB Vice President Maria Howlader FCA, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shubhashish Bose and BIDA Director Md. Ariful Hoque were present.
