Bhairab Upazila’s Assistant Commissioner (Land) Himadri Khisa recovered after a long 18-day battle with coronavirus. On Monday, she returned home. Besides, 20 more people recovered and returned home on the same day.
It is learned that in the last four days, out of 49 samples sent to Bhairab on April 30, 11 samples were found positive for corona. All other reports have been negative. Sample test reports sent on May 3 and 4 have not yet been received.
The first corona victim in Bhairab on April 10 was a Sub Inspector. Later, 46 people including 9 more policemen, 8 doctors and 22 health workers have been infected so far. One of them is a child.
Describing her recovery, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Himadri Khisa said, "I have been fighting with corona for 18 days. I could never have imagined that there could be such a distance between two words.
I never imagined that these two words would bring about a change in body and mind in a moment. These two words are corona negative and positive.” She also said, “I spent my free time watching funny movies and funny videos to keep my mind
fresh. In the meantime, a few books have been read. I cleaned the house and clothes with my own cooking every day. The results of the first test on April 30 and the results of the second test on May 4 were also negative. Thanks to everyone's prayers, blessings and sincere cooperation, I have returned to a healthy and normal life today.”

Bhairab Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Bulbul Ahmed said that today, a total of 36 patients with corona in Bhairab, including 21, have recovered by 'overcoming fear'. If the rules are followed, everyone will recover one day and return to the family.
In this regard, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Lubna Farzana said, "I am very happy that 36 patients affected by corona have recovered." With the efforts of all, I hope that every corona patient of Bhairab will recover in this way and return home.
