BGB seizes huge Indian golden ornament from Jhenidah frontier

The border guard bangladh (BGB) personnel of 58 ballaion at Khalishpur of bordering Moheshpur have seized smuggled Indian golden rings from Moheshpur in Jheniidah in the morning of Tuesday. Aproximate price of the seized ornament was estamated for an amount of Taka 2943,550 aid te BGB sources.

BGB 58 battalion asistant director Qamrul Hsdan said the BG men acting on a secreat information took possession at Matlarait aream near bordering pillar number 60/27 R at about 10 AM on te day.

They challaenged am n bearing a bag. But the man fledaway leaving the bag. Later the bodewr giusrds found 216 pieces of golden rings weighting 612.22 graqms. Aproximater price of the seized items might be Ta 29 lak 43 thouand and 550.

Later the seized golden rings was deposited to Jhenidah tregery. A case was filed with Moheshpur police staion in this connection, the BGB offcal said.
