Border Guard Bangladesh's (BGB) Satkhira Battalion recovered one pistol, two rounds of bullets and one magazine from Kakdanga border in Satkhira's Kalaroa upazila.
Tipped off, a team of BGB-33 led by Lieutenant Colonel Ashraful Huq conducted a raid in the Kakdanga border area and seized a US-made pistol, two rounds of bullets and one magazine left by the smugglers who fled the scene after being spotted, according to a press release sent by BGB-33.
A case has been filed with Kalaroa police station in this regard.
Further necessary legal action is in the process, the press release reads.
