Two consignments of the Bangladeshi nationals without passport and visa were frilled from bordering Moheshpur area in Jhenaidah between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, said the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) sources. BGB 58 battalion assistant director Mohammad Saiful Islam said they had nabbed nine persons including women from Matila bordering area on Monday afternoon when they were allegedly attempting to enter into neighboring India without any valid papers. The border guards also grilled four others from Banshbaria point when they were entering in Bangladesh territory.
The arrested admitted that they left the country as per the advice of the brokers without valid papers.
They belong to Khulna, Bagerhat, Narail, Jashore and Satkhira, they informed.
The arrested were handed over to bordering Moheshpur police station after filing cases, the BGB official said.
