BGB detains more seven people from Benapole frontier

Members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained more seven people, including women and children, from Gatipara Border of Benapole on Wednesday morning.

BGB 21 battalion director Lt Col Salim Reja confirmed the matter. He said that they detained five men, a woman and a child from Daulotpur bordering area. Although the detainees could not produce any valid documents, had been claiming themselves as the citizens of Norail in Bangladesh.

Number of detainees toll to eighty six  in last fifteen days who entered into Bangladesh territory through this bordering belt in Benapole from neighboring India without valid documents. The detainees were handed over to Benapole Port police station , the BGB CO said.
