Border Guard Bangladesh director general Major General AKM Nazmul Hasan visited Cumilla-Feni border areas under Cumilla battalion of BGB on Thursday.
He inspected operational, training and administrative activities of various units of BGB-10 during his visit and gave various directions to ranks officers and soldiers of Cumilla sector BGB, said a press release.
DG Nazmul Hasan also visited border outpost and integrated check post of BGB’s Bibirbazar battalion. Acting sector commander of BSF Gokulnagar Rajesh Singh Kanwar gave him floral greetings there, read the release.
Later, BGB chief visited Mazumdarhat BOP, Bilonia ICP and Muhuri Char under BGB-4 battalion.
During the visit, senior officials of BGB headquarters, region commander of Sarail region, sector commander of Cumilla sector and other officials of the organisation were present.
