On the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh’s Independence and the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a friendly football match was organised between Indian Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Friday.
The match was held on Shikarpur High School ground at Karimpur Thana under Nadia district of West Bengal in India at the initiative
of BSF. The match was inaugurated by Bhaskar Banarjee, a former captain of Indian National Football Team.
BSF team won the match by 3-0 goals while, the goalkeeper of the BGB team Akash Ali became the Man of the Match.
After the Match prizes were distributed among the players of both teams.
