The newly elected committee of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) including the president Tabith Awal met with the winners of the SAFF Women's Championship team on Wednesday.
The new president Tabith Awal talked to the media after his meeting with the women’s team along with the members of the executive committee.
Tabith Awal said the reporters, “Bangladesh women booters brought a great success. There will certainly have their honour from BFF, will be announce after the executive meeting to be held on Saturday.”
After becoming the champion in 2022, the federation the then senior vice-president Abdus Salam Murshedi and vice-president Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan Manik paid Tk 50 lakh each. Replying to a query, whether any official of the BFF will make such an announcement, Tabith said, “You will know what we are doing after the meeting on Saturday. Many individuals and organizations want to welcome the champion team.”
Meanwhile, the election of the BFF was held on October 26 and Tabith was elected the preeisdent.
