BFF announces team for tri-nation

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has announced 24 players including five new faces for the tri-nation that will be held at Nepal on March 23-29. Host Nepal and other two teams Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan will take part in the tri-nation football tournament. 

Bangladesh Captain Jamal Bhuiyan, who is now playing in Indian League (I-League) for Kolkata Mohammedan, also included for the national side.

The five new players of the squad are - Rimon Hossain (defender, Bashundhara Kings), Mohammad Emon, Mehedi Hasan, forward Mehedi Hasan Royal (Muktijoddha) and Habibur Rahman Shohag (MSC).

Seven players were picked up from the league leaders Bashundhara Kings, four from Dhaka Abahani, three each from Saif and Muktijoddha, Sheikh Russel and Chattogram Abahani, both have two, and one apiece from MSC and Uttar Baridhara. 

There are seven stand-by players taken from U-23 into the squad, and they are:  Abu Sayed, M. Rahimuddin, Imran Hassan Rimon, Faisal Ahmed fahim (Saif Sporting Club), Mitu Larma (Uttar Baridhara), Atiquzzaman (Mohammedan SC),  and Mohammad Jewel (Police FC).

The squad are as follows:

Goal Keepers: Ashraful Islam Rana, Shahidul Alam Sohel and Anisur Rahman Zico.

Defenders: Bishawnath Ghosh, Rimon Hossain, Tutul Hossain Badsha, Rahmat Miya, Yeasin Arafat, Riyadul Hasan, Mohammad Emon, Mehedi Hasan and Habibur Rahman Shohag.

Midfield: Manik Mollah, Jamal Bhuian, Masuk Mia Jonny, Rakib Hossain, Biplu Ahmed, Saaduddin and Sohel rana.

Forward: Motin Mia, Mohammad Abdullah, Sumon Reza, Mehedi Hasan and Mahbubur Rahman Sufil.
